Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! I always smirk when I hear the lousy liberals scoff at Christmas and say, "that's not politically correct". Hey, Christmas as far as I'm concerned is a cultural observance, not a religious one. Although I know that many Christians do celebrate the religious aspects of it as well, that doesn't mean those of us that are not Christian don't appreciate the Christmas holiday and the season in general. Growing up in a culture where Christmas was as American as, well apple pie, everyone is exposed to it. Just like I'm sure on St.Patricks day, not everyone who is drinking and celebrating is Irish! Anyway. Merry Christmas and if it's a "Bah Humbug" from you then Happy Holidays!

Lot's of toys and gadgets out there this year! I was thinking if I could buy any gadget I wanted and it was just a luxury item, nothing I needed like a car or funiture, just grown up toys I'd want the following from Santa this year.

1. An in dash DVD player for my car. I know I don't spend enough time in it to watch a full movie anyway, but hey it's really cool.
2. PSP, so I can play video games on the road.
3. The Treo 650. It's the next phone up from my model. Mine is getting a little long in the tooth, but the word is there is a crop of new models coming out.
4. Apple's 12 inch Powerbook. Again, it's better to wait, Apple has a new line up coming out.
5. Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Ok, I know it's a little extreme, but think about all the savings I'd make it commuting!

Maybe I'll celebrate Hanukah too this year, they get presents for like 12 days!
